![]() ![]() I am asking $2500 for the Skip and $2000 for the ER pair, although I will consider all reasonable offers. Another difference is one of the shaft is with black ferrule and the other is with white ferrule. Both cues are brand new, both are identical somewhat one of them is with linen wrap and the other with ring tail lizard wrap. The rings are ebony and amboyna and there is a small finish chip in the butt of the playing cue. Selling these lovely yet simple playing Steve Lomax cues. My point is had I not questioned the seller about the discrepeancy, the actual photos of the cue would have not been revealed. The photos were spectacular and so I instantly bought it. The player has an ivory joint, ebony forearm, six long amboyna points, lizard wrap and ebony butt sleeve with three scrimmed ivory windows and three amboyna diamonds with nested ivory diamonds. The cue went unsold for 18 mths and when I pointed this out, he sent me photos of the actual cue that was for sale. Both cues are 60" in length and come with two shafts with ivory ferrules, one shaft for each has a small roll while the other is straight. The ER pair include a scrimed playing cue and a matching Break Jump Extension (BJX) cue which weigh 20.3 oz and 20.6 oz and have balance points of 20" and 19.5" respectively. The cue also includes fancy joint protectors where the butt protectors are a recreation of the butt sleeve and the joint protectors have the four spearheads from the points and all have the rings from the cue. The rings are ivory, ebony and snake wood. The butt has alternating windows of cocobolo and snake wood with ivory diamonds in the cocobolo windows. The cue has four high points of ebony with double ebony and cocobolo hardwood veneers and ivory spearheads and four low points of snake wood. Everything that is white is ivory and the wrap is authentic lizard. The Skip is 19oz with either shaft with a balance point about 18.5 inches from the butt and it is 60" in length. While this is one of the hardest decisions I have had to make I am selling my Skip Weston and my Edwin Reyes pair. The jet black ebony allows everything else (Silver, tulip wood, copper, brass, elforyn, abalone shell and mother of pearl) to pop on this cue. Named ‘Raging Flower,’ this cue is one of a kind and absolutely stunning. Due to a series of unfortunate events I am having to sell some of my cues. Up for sale is a masterpiece of a Zen custom cue. ![]()
